Born in 1955 from illustrator Dick Bruna’s drawings, this picture book character, the female rabbit Miffy, and her friends are the heroes of 107 books that have created a universe of products and T.V. series.
Description:In her stories Miffy and her friends depict family situations children can understand and where they can see themselves reflected while establishing an intimate relationship between this character and the small readers. Miffy is naive and innocent, an image reflected by her minimalist style.

- 3D Series - ¨Miffy & Friends¨ (78 episodes), Miffy ¨Family Celebrations¨ (4 ¨specials”) and ¨Explore the World with Miffy¨ (4 ¨specials¨)
• Miffy is supportive as she has collaborated with an endless amount of social actions; she designed the logo for the Nagano (Japan 05) ¨Special Olympics¨ Winter Competition as well as a line of products for UNICEF, for charitable purposes, that will be on sale in Spain and Portugal beginning this year 2007.
• Broad editorial program. The main collection, based on 107 original stories, has now been translated into 42 different languages, with over 85 million copies sold so far (Edited in Portugal by Asa)
• Miffy has also opened her own exclusive ¨Miffy Shop¨. Porto has been the first Portuguese city to set up a ¨Miffy Shop¨ by using this new concept
• Miffy is design. The traits defining her are only a few simple lines and three or four primary colours (red, blue, yellow and green)
• All over the world there have been exhibitions with Miffy designs: Hokkaido (Japan), Papalote (Mexico), Utrecht (Nederland), N.Y. Contemporary Fine Art Museum (USA).
• The city of New York appointed Miffy as “children’s ambassadress ¨.
